This beautiful soap bar has become a firm favourite of Colette's at Vera-Bee. The scent is soothing & grounding.  I use the Cedarwood & Green Clay Soap as a face soap...and I never thought I would use a face soap, but since trying natural oil & clay based soaps I am converted we now have a few at Vera-Bee. we love them!  These really are a must try  - great for washing your face in the morning, especially in the shower - so easy, quick and great for cleansing without drying your skin.  This soap is great for problematic, acne & hormonal skin. Soothing & Calming

Castor Oil has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties and works wonders for blemished or acne prone skin. Its astringent qualities clear away excess dirt and old skin, helping to prevent blocked pores.

Organic Shea Butter is well known as a deeply moisturising butter. High in levels of vitamin A, it is known to improve skins elasticity and reduce the appearance of marks and scars.

Himalayan Pink helps to replenishes 84 trace minerals that give your skin a healthy glow. It soothes tired muscles and can be used as a mild exfoliant.

Green Clay gently draws out and readily absorbs impurities in the skin, allowing them to be washed away. It stimulates the blood flow leaving skin feeling soft, supple and revitalised.

Lavender essential oil calms and heals as well as providing antibacterial properties, Patchouli helps to ground and cedarwood has a great calming effect on the senses.

Looking after your natural soap

These handmade 100% natural soaps have no chemical preservatives so they deserve a little bit of attention to keep them fresh and prolong their lives. Our soaps have a high percentage of natural glycerine. Great for your skin as it's incredibly moisturising but it also attracts water. Therefore, it's really important to keep your soap somewhere dry.

 

When you are not using your natural soap, it's best to keep it out of water and on a well-drained surface so it can completely dry between uses. Using a wooden soap dish with open slats means air can circulate underneath where water can collect. We have a range of sustainable wood soap dishes for you to choose from. Or you could get creative and use a few pebbles on a small dish to create the same effect. Plus this looks pretty too. Treating your soap like this will make it last for as long as possible.
