These 30L bin liners are made from 100% organic material and will break down within 6 months if composted.
They are just as strong and just as leakproof as plastic bin liners and have a reinforced base. Because they are fully compostable, they are approved to be used for the council's food waste collection in the UK.
How are they made?
These bags are made from a raw material called Mater-Bi®. The corn starch and plant oils used to make this material come from responsibly-farmed, EU-grown maize. They contain no palm oil or soya and no virgin soil or deforestation is involved in their production.
Manufactured in a wind-powered, zero waste factory in Belgium, they are certified industrially compostable to EN13432.
