Lavender Beeswax Soap Bar - Bee Cosmetics

Handmade in West Sussex, UK

A moisturising soap with a wonderful fresh lavender scent – suitable for all skin types.

Great for gardener's hands to clean with natural lavender essential oil we also love to use this soap before bed for a good nights sleep.

Lavender is the eternal classic and one of our favourites at Vera-Bee. The Latin name for lavender actually means ‘to wash’. For centuries, lavender has been treasured for its ability to relieve tension and pain, whilst also disinfecting the skin and enhancing blood circulation.

Each bar is handmade with coconut oil, almond oil, beeswax (using beeswax from their own beehives in Sussex), olive oil and lavender essential oil. Nothing else.

We are so pleased to stock Bee Cosmetics products, who are based just 10 minutes from us at Vera-Bee. We love supporting other small business that have the same ethos and values as us.

Looking after your soap

These handmade 100% natural soaps have no chemical preservatives so they deserve a little bit of attention to keep them fresh and prolong their lives. Our soaps have a high percentage of natural glycerine. Great for your skin as its incredibly moisturising but it also attracts water. Therefore, it's really important to keep your soap somewhere dry.

When you are not using your natural soap, it's best to keep it out of water and on a well-drained surface so it can completely dry between uses. Using a wooden soap dish with open slats means air can circulate underneath where water can collect. We have a range of sustainable wood soap dishes for you to choose from. Or you could get creative and use a few pebbles on a small dish to create the same effect. Plus this looks pretty too. Treating your soap like this will make it last for as long as possible.

All Natural Ingredients

Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Sodium Prunate (Almond Oil), Sodium Beeswaxate (Beeswax), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender Essential Oil).

About Bee Cosmetics

For centuries bee products have been used in skincare, medicine and healthcare. We sustainably collect beeswax, honey and propolis from our beehives across Sussex to use within our range. This gives our products excellent natural skin care properties reducing the need for synthetic chemicals.

We source the highest quality plant oils, butters and essential oils, combining them with our simple recipes and long-established techniques to reduce the need for synthetic chemicals found in most mass-produced skincare.

We adopt a handmade small batch process, making at most 80 products per batch. This allows for hand-craft, attention to detail and reduced waste. All products are packaged inhouse using recyclable or reusable containers, avoiding wasteful packaging.
