Give poorly behaved hair a timeout with this Little Naughty, Never Knotty Shampoo Bar. Just wet, lather and massage into kids' locks. It's got provitamin B5 and EcoSilk to gently nourish and detangle, with a natural raspberry scent as sweet as they are (when they want something).

These bars come naked wrapped in paper. Or you can choose to add a tin to store your bar in between uses or on your travels.

We are so pleased to be stockists of Rowdy Kind. Charlie is a huge fan and after using their bars on her boys, she knew that we had to have them. They smell amazing, are so easy to use and unlike some soap & shampoo bars , they won't go soft in water - great if your kids like playing with them in the bath.  And, best of all, they are kind to the planet and to your children's skin.

What ingredients make this bar great for hair?

Rowdy Kind have added Provitamin B5 and EcoSilk (Isamyl Laurate & Isoamyl Cocoate in the ingredients list). Both are vegan hair conditioning and nourishing agents, so they will make hair less prone to tangles and easier to comb out. They've also added Raspberry Seed Oil and Raspberry Powder for extra vitamins and antioxidants to help keep hair healthy and shiny.

How to use

Once you've done it once, you'll be like "oh, so easy!". Hold the bar in your hand and rub it on the scene of the grime AKA your kid’s wet hair. Then, massage the suds into the hair and scalp with your hands and spread the foam everywhere, rinse as per usual — it really is that simple!

The great thing about the bars is you actually can just hand it over to your kid (unlike a liquid where there’s always that risk it’s all going to disappear down the drain!!).

How to store your Shampoo Bar

Like any soap, show your Shampoo Bar love by letting it dry out between uses on the side of the tub, sink or shower.

Use a soap dish or if you choose to add a Rowdy Kind tin, use the lid, sitting the bar on top. If it slips off, turn the lid upside down and put the bar in there — just make sure it’s not full of water before you do!

Ingredients & Information

Sodium coco isethionate, Stearic Acid, Cocomidopropyl Betaine, Theobroma Cocao Seed Butter (Cocoa Butter), Glycerin, Parfum, Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil (Raspberry Seed Oil), Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Isamyl Laurate (EcoSilk Conditioner), Benzyl Alcohol, Maltodextrin, Dehydroacetic Acid, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (Synthetic Mica), Rubus Idaeus Fruit Extract (Raspberry extract), CI 77891, Isoamyl Cocoate, CI 77510, CI 77491, CI 77861.

Sodium Coco Isethionate: This is a very mild, coconut based cleanser. It comes in a fine powder to make it easy to combine into the bar. In the US they call it “baby foam”, which gives you an idea of how wonderful it is! A little science, but bars need to have two slightly different cleansers to be really good. So Rowdy Kind have this in combination with Cocamidopropyl Betaine.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine: This is a liquid coconut-based cleanser. It’s known for producing foam quickly, it’s what makes these bars foam up, even thought they’re super gentle.

Stearic Acid: First thing to say, is this Stearic Acid is certified palm free. In these bars it does three things – it makes all the ingredients combine together into a smooth solid bar, secondly it helps make them foam up and be fun, and finally it leaves a lovely silky smooth moisturised feel on skin.

Benzyl Alcohol and Dehydroacetic Acid: These are preservatives. Because these bars have very low pH they need something in them to make sure they don't get any bacteria or other yukkies growing on them in the damp environment of your bathroom. Rowdy Kind use the mildest preservative possible, certified by COSMOS and EcoCert bodies. They're both less than 0.9% of the bar.

Synthetic Mica: Rowdy Kind use mica to colour their bars. They use Mica because it is extremely gentle, will never penetrate the skin barrier and rinses off without staining. They use either synthetic mica, which is the same as the mica you'd find in nature but made in a lab, or natural mica where their supplier is able to illustrate the mica is sourced sustainably and ethically.

About Rowdy Kind

Rowdy Kind was born from those meaningful, magical moments between parents and their kids — creating more of those today so that our not-so-little ones can be bolder, braver, better grown-ups tomorrow. We are raising the bath bar so the next generation can have the confidence to ask bigger questions, have even bigger hearts and be good to the huge planet we all share. Imagine if creating a kinder world began with talking in the tub?

Kids want a better bath time solution: fun but gentle, not "pink for girls, blue for boys", and definitely it has to be great for the environment. When we couldn't find it, we had to do it ourselves.

We're the Rowdy Kind. Let's raise the bath bar, together.
