Mineral Silk is a true powder foundation. Easy to use, with a light, natural coverage that suits those who do not wish to look overly 'made-up' or whom prefer a natural 'no makeup' look.

Applied on top of moisturiser or primer such as Zao's Prim'hydra, Sublim'Soft or Light Complexion Base, it is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types. You can also use over top of the Fluid Silk Foundation or Foundation Sticks for extra staying power.
This matt foundation is applied with a kabuki brush and worked into skin to create a flawless, natural finish. It is talc-free, as are all ZAO powders. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and acne-prone skin.
This is the REFILL ONLY so you can refill your bamboo case.

This product, as with all ZAO products, is free from parabens (synthetic preservatives), using instead micronised silver as an effective and non-toxic preservative. ZAO does not use nanoparticles in their products, with the micronised silver being larger than nanoparticle size, making ZAO products safe and free from toxic preservatives.

How to use
Use moisturiser before applying Mineral Silk. Pour some powder through the sieve into the lid of the bamboo pot. Then apply light pressure while turning the kabuki brush on the powder to fill the bristles. Lightly tap the kabuki to remove excess powder before applying to the face in a circular motion.
Zao Beauty tip: Just like the compact powders, Mineral Silk also helps set the make-up for a stronger hold. Use over top of the Fluid Silk Foundation.
About the ingredients
Organic Rice Powder - Rice powder is one of the oldest cosmetic ingredients. It has the ability to mattify the skin without clogging the pores by adjusting the secretion of sebum.
Organic Corn Starch - The organic corn starch is a vegetable support allowing a better adhesion of the powder on the skin, and thus a better holding of the make-up. It facilitates the dispersion of pigments and helps the consistency of the complexion on the skin.
Cocoa Bean Extract - Cocoa has the property of being anti-oxidant to fight against the bad effects of time. In addition it is a vegetable dye.
Bamboo Powder - White substance extracted from the joints of bamboo. Thanks to its high silica content, it remineralises, hydrates and participates in the regeneration of your skin while reducing the shine of combination and oily skin.
