Nail Hardener - Zao Makeup

Introducing a toxin free (10 free) nail hardener by Zao. 

Enriched with silca made from bamboo oil to condition your nails. Strengthen and condition nails, thanks to silica, it can be used as a treatment for brittle nails that need fortification. It is ideally applied as an undercoat prior to applying nail polish.

'10 free' Nail Varnish meaning that 10 known toxins traditionally found in nail polish have been replaced. 80% ingredients from natural origin. In this new formula Zao have changed the petrochemical solvents to Agro-solvents from corn, potatoes, manioc and wheat. These come in a glass bottle with a bamboo lid.  There is a small amount of plastic in the lid due to these needing to be leakproof. 

Zao continue to lead the way in sustainable and natural cosmetics.  They are looking at a refill and plastic-free alternative. We also stock Zao's Duo Base & Top Coat.

How to use

Apply one or two coats to clean nails.  Use as a base coat before applying Zao Nail Varnish

The composition is free of 10 harmful ingredients: toluene*, formaldehyde*, dibutyl phthalate*, formaldehyde resin, paraben, xylene*, camphor, rosin*, styrene and benzophenone. Therefore, with the new 10 free formula, we have now removed 2 new harmful ingredients: styrene and benzophenone.
