This natural and effective laundry powder is sustainable and plastic-free. Rose geranium is naturally antibacterial and has powerful deodorising properties. It has a beautiful floral scent that is both uplifting and refreshing.

Planet Detox laundry powder can be used with a machine or hand washing.

Cleaning the natural way, but don't be fooled, this washing powder works just as well as chemical commercial laundry powders. We have put it to the test with Charlie's two small boys dirty washing and it works a treat!

Great for those with sensitive skins, babies, young children and those that don't want to wash their clothes in harsh chemicals, that can cause damage not just to us but to our waterways.

How to use your laundry wash

Place 2-3 tablespoons of laundry wash straight into the washing machine drum or in the drawer. Set washing to chosen cycle.

Smaller quantities can be used for lighter loads and hand washing.

Ingredients

Sodium Carbonate Decahydrate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Clear SLS-free Zeni Soap Base, Rose Geranium Oil.

Packaging

Grease-proof paper, kraft cardboard box and biodegradable paper tape.

I purchased this last week and I had read the reviews, so let's give it a go. My husband has a jacket that he uses in the garden and for other dirty jobs , car cleaning and window cleaning. So I used the required Laundry Powder and crossed my fingers. Wow it came out of the washer and it was brilliant, better than anything I had used on it before.

Be warned, the box is small. I actually gasped when I unpacked it! However that said, we're pretty much all used to bigger boxes of washing powder where you need to use a lot more product aren't we? You only need a couple of tablespoons directly into the drum. When I first read the description it said x 10 loads - but I know I am definitely going to get more than that out of it. I've used it about 4 times already and not anywhere near through half of it. I have not used it on very dirty clothes as neither myself or husband have jobs where clothes get heavily soiled. So I can't comment on it's cleaning power for that type of load. However our lightly soiled clothes come out smelling very fresh. I don't get a strong scent. I would have liked perhaps to have had a bit more of a lingering scent (someone said their washing smelled of Turkish Delight which I was hoping for too!) but you can't really complain when your washing smells fresh and clean can you. Also we live in a hard water area so I am not sure if that makes a difference (perhaps I should try a little bit more powder in the next load just to see). Really pleased not to be adding to the plastic problem and that this product is being kind to the environment. I probably would buy again and do recommend you give it a try for yourself.

It works well, but I think eco sheets works better. It needs help with tougher stains ( I had to add other detergent) Although it smells lovely and still does its job ;)

I keep coming back to this laundry detergent. It washes well for a totally natural product. (I add percarbonate for tough stains). It's lovely to have the gentle rose geranium fragrance, and great to have minimal, but recyclable packaging.
