Organic Cotton Dish Towel - Zero Waste Club

Our Organic Cotton Dish Towels are perfect for drying hands, drying dishes or cleaning. They are also super soft and high quality which is important when we are using them everyday to dry our hands! They are made from 100% organic cotton and come in two beautiful colours: Ash and Desert.

Why use an organic cotton dish towel?

Many regular dish towels are made from polyester which is a petroleum-based fibre made from non-renewable sources. Washing polyester causes hundreds of thousands of micro-plastic fibres to release into the water stream, and eventually back into our natural ecosystems. These dish towels are made from 100% organic cotton, which means that they are 100% biodegradable and recyclable. It also means that no dangerous fertilisers are used farming the cotton. These fertilisers pose a huge threat to human health and the natural ecosystems on cotton farms.

Even though Zero Waste Club can produce this item for cheaper and charge you far less, if the people who ultimately make it are unhappy, then what's the point of making anything? About Zero Waste Club

Feeling frustrated and let-down by the extent of the damage we have done to our environment, two friends - Rishi and Pawan - went in search of answers. While the markets are changing slowly, they noticed that many products that are eco-friendly are given a luxury label. They also found that many products sold under the “eco” label tend to stretch the definition of sustainability. Thus they decided to start their own journey to produce truly sustainable, beautifully designed, ethical and vegan essentials at affordable prices.

And here we are!

We want to do more than just make beautiful eco-friendly products. So we are going to make the most transparent, ethical, sustainable goods company on earth. Opening up our supply chain fully for everyone to see. To show that there is a nicer way to do business. Hopefully this will inspire other businesses to do the same.
