Rhassoul clay hails from the mountainous regions of Morocco, formed by a natural combination of volcanic activity and geothermal changes; it has been a skincare staple used by royals and nobility in ancient Rome and Egypt.
You might not think of a mud as a particularly skin-softening ingredient, but Rhassoul clay has even been shown to improve dry skin by regulating your skin's natural oil balance! Additionally, those who use Rhassoul clay as a mask have reported improvement in the cleanliness and overall look in the texture of their skin. Clinical studies and testing on Rhassoul found that it can increase skin elasticity, even skin tone, reduce blemishes and blackheads, and reduce skin dryness & flakiness.
Kelp is a superfood of skincare! Sea kelp is rich in iodine and other minerals, which means it's extremely hydrating. It also helps your skin retain moisture, which means it's not something that just sits on your skin and adds moisture temporarily. It actually helps your skin hold on to moisture, which means it can provide much longer lasting hydration. If you have rosacea or acne, you'll love that sea kelp has anti-inflammatory properties. How to use your organic face mask?
Mix a couple of spoonfuls with water or honey to form a paste. Smooth onto skin and allow to dry, then rinse with warm water. Use once to twice a week. Please note do not use a metal spoon or container to make the paste as this affects the clay.
