Premium Stainless Steel Razor Blades x 10 - Zero Waste Club

  • £3.50
These Premium Stainless Steel Razor Blades come in packs of 10 and are designed to fit all double edge/safety razors. They are compatible with both our Zero Waste Club and Bambaw razors.

Why safety blades and why switch?

Do you remember your grandpa? He had a perfect shave and all he ever used was that single blade razor. These days, razors have become complicated. With vibrating handles, flash lights and 4 blades that apparently cuts better. All of this is marketing rubbish making us consume more than we need. From a recycling perspective, the issue is that the normal razor blades have combination of many materials such as plastic, rubber and metal stuck together. And impossible to recycle at the end of life due to how it's manufactured. Our razor blades are made from stainless steel and is 100% recyclable at end of life.

What we love...

  • Suitable for face & body
  • Saves time & money
  • Made ethically & sustainably
  • Suitable for ladies, gents & all lovely humans
  • Great value for money in the long run
  • Comes with no plastic packaging whatsoever
  • Comes in a recycled Kraft Paper Box

How to replace your razor blade

There are 10 blades in this pack (enough to last you for ages) and they are so easy to change:
  • Unscrew handle of your reusable/safety razor
  • Remove the top part of the razor
  • Slot in the new blade
  • Screw back together
Tip - make sure the grooved part of the top of the razor is facing up. Make sure to carefully dry the razor and blade after use, using a towel. Used razor blades can be put inside a safety razor disposal box then tape up the slit when full. And put the whole disposal box in metal recycling bin. Due to high temperatures of metal recycling, the plastic tape or any tape used to seal the slit will automatically be burned and evaporated. Leaving only the pure metal behind.

About Zero Waste Club

Feeling frustrated and let-down by the extent of the damage we have done to our environment, two friends - Rishi and Pawan - went in search of answers. While the markets are changing slowly, they noticed that many products that are eco-friendly are given a luxury label. They also found that many products sold under the “eco” label tend to stretch the definition of sustainability. Thus they decided to start their own journey to produce truly sustainable, beautifully designed, ethical and vegan essentials at affordable prices.

And here we are!

We want to do more than just make beautiful eco-friendly products. So we are going to make the most transparent, ethical, sustainable goods company on earth. Opening up our supply chain fully for everyone to see. To show that there is a nicer way to do business. Hopefully this will inspire other businesses to do the same.
