Organic Cotton Produce/Grocery Bag Netted

We love Turtle Bag's range of ethically-sourced, plastic-free and reusable shopping bags. These are their Organic Cotton Reusable Produce and Grocery Bags. Washable so you can use over, and over again!

These organic cotton produce bags are available in two sizes, Medium and Large. Or, you can buy both as a set.

Organic Cotton

Made from 100% organic cotton, these versatile bags are perfect to take with you to the supermarket, farm shop or local fruit and vegetable market.

Use instead of single-use plastic fruit and veg bags in the supermarket and even brown paper bags at the market. We also have un-netted organic cotton produce bags for zero-waste pantry shopping. These don't have any holes so they are great for your smaller bits like lentils, nuts, seeds, dried fruit etc. Our produce bags fold up teeny-tiny so you can slip them in your handbag or shopping bag (we do a great String Turtle Shopping Bag) so they are always to hand.

Reusable Produce and Grocery Bags

Turtle Bag's organic cotton bags are completely washable so you can use them over and over again.

They are also certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This means Turtle Bags never use cotton which has had chemical pesticides or fertilisers used in its production and farmers must work under safe conditions with an agreed minimum wage.

Materials: GOTS 100% organic cotton

About Turtle Bags

Turtle Bags was created in 2001 in response to the lack of ethically-sourced, reusable and plastic-free shopping bags. Why the name Turtle Bags? One of the company’s main concerns is that when we eventually discard our plastic bags here in the UK, they travel along rivers and streams and eventually end up out at sea. Turtles venturing into UK waters encounter them, and are increasingly mistaking our rubbish as one of their favourite snacks, the jellyfish. The amount of turtles now found dead with plastic bags inside of them is truly devastating. We have five different species of turtle which venture into British waters, most predominantly the Leatherback Turtle.  These creatures have been around for 100 million years and are certainly worth protecting.  Try a Turtle Bag today and be part of the solution!
