Lovingly handmade in the Vera-Bee Hive in West Sussex, our Unpaper Towels are our reusable, earth-friendly alternative to kitchen roll and paper towels. One of our favourites in the Vera-Bee range, we absolutely love them. And, you have been loving them too!

"Whenever I choose new fabrics for our Unpaper Towels, I always go for one 'wild card'. One which I just have to have because I love it and want to work with it. This time, it's this gorgeous design featuring whales on a blue background with a subtle planet Earth pattern. I couldn't resist the very cute baby whales with their mothers. I think it reminds me of why I created these Unpaper Towels in the first place - as a way of helping our planet, the oceans and the beautiful creatures we share it with."

Don’t be fooled by its soft and fluffy exterior, our Unpaper Towels are made of tough stuff.  It can be used for mopping up messes, drying dishes, cleaning bathrooms, polishing cats, burping babies, dusting... just about anything really.  Then, throw it in the washing machine and it’s ready for Round Two. And Three. And Four...

Plastic Free & Zero Waste

Our Unpaper Towels come in sets of seven.  The pretty side is made from 100% eco-friendly cotton while the business side is made from ultra-absorbent 100% cotton towelling. We have quilted each sheet to make them stronger and to ensure that they won't ever lose their shape.

Unlike other makers, we don’t use plastic poppers on our unpaper towels.  Not only do we find them scratchy and annoying, but we try to be as plastic-free as possible. Save money as well as the planet.  Not just a pretty face, your Unpaper Towels will last you years, meaning you’ll save money on your weekly shopping bill by never having to buy single use kitchen roll again. Yay!

These reusable unpaper towels don't have a cardboard tube to recycle. You can simply roll them up together and they are sturdy enough to stand on your work surface. Though, we think they look very nice tucked into in a basket or one of our large fabric pots.

Eco-friendly alternative to kitchen roll

Households worldwide get through a staggering 6.6 million tonnes of disposable kitchen paper annually, most of which ends up in landfill. It takes 17 trees and 91,000 litres of water to produce just one tonne of kitchen paper–that’s 112 million trees and 600.6 billion litres of water every year. Gulp!
