Why use a Shaving Brush?

You get a better shave with a shaving brush as it massages your skin and helps soften your hairs and helps prevent ingrown hairs. A great, close shave in the traditional way. Use with our shaving soaps for the perfect close shave.

How to Use your Shaving Brush & Soap

Soften the soap with a tablespoon of warm water for 10-15 minutes and then pour off any excess. Using a warm wet shaving brush gently swirl the surface of the soap for a minute or two until you notice a good creamy lather start to form. Alternate the swirl direction every few moments to help work the lather into the brush’s bristles. Use brush to apply the lather to your face, legs, armpits. anywhere you want to be smooth and start shaving. You can also use a flannel or muslin cloth instead of a shaving brush.

If you are using a shaving brush the first thing you need to do, is soak your shaving brush in warm water for 30 seconds. Fill your sink with warm water and soak the brush in that, or under the shower. Squeeze the excess water from your shaving brush. Note that if the brush is too wet it will create a watery lather but if too dry it will be hard to get a lather at all.
